Experience an unforgettable safari adventure in the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations. Known for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking savannah landscapes, the reserve offers excellent game viewing with chances to spot the Big Five in their natural habitat. You will also have an opportunity to visit the Mara River, famous for the spectacular wildebeest and zebra migration that takes place every year.
7:30 AM: Pick-up and begin the scenic drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
En route: Make a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take in breathtaking views of the escarpment.
Midday: Arrive at the reserve (after an approximately 5-hour journey) in time for lunch and check-in at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.
4:00 PM: Head out for an afternoon game drive across the savannah plains to spot wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, and wildebeests.
Evening: Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Early Morning (Optional): Embark on a hot air balloon safari for breathtaking aerial views of the reserve, followed by a bush breakfast (available at an extra cost).
Morning: Depart after an early breakfast for a full-day game drive across the savannah to spot the Big Five, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more.
Mid-Safari: Visit the Mara River, the dramatic crossing point for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October).
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch served directly within the reserve.
Afternoon: Continue with game drives, featuring an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village to experience their culture and way of life (available at an extra cost).
Evening: Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Morning: Enjoy breakfast, followed by a scenic drive back to Nairobi.
Afternoon: Arrive in Nairobi.
Drop-off: Conclude your safari experience with a drop-off at either the airport or your preferred hotel.
